Sugaring and waxing are both effective hair removal methods that remove hair from the root, leaving skin smooth for weeks. The main difference is in the products and technique. Sugaring uses a paste made from natural ingredients like sugar, lemon and water, applied at a cooler temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth. Waxing uses either hard or soft waxes, applied warm and removed against the direction of hair growth. Both methods can be customized to suit your skin type and hair texture, and our team is trained and experienced in delivering great results with either option.

Yes! We offer male Brazilian waxing and sugaring in Raleigh, NC, along with back, chest, arms, legs, brow shaping, and underarm. We also provide corrective facials and holistic skincare treatments for men. Whether you’re new to male Brazilian waxing or a regular, we ensure a discreet, comfortable, and professional experience.

Hair Removal (Sugaring or Waxing):

• Allow hair to grow to at least 1/4 inch (about the length of a grain of rice) for the best removal results.
• Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and lift hairs.
• Avoid lotions, creams, or oils on the day of your service.
• Wear loose, breathable clothing for post-appointment comfort.
   

Facials, Dermaplaning, & Chemical Peels:

• Avoid tanning, retinoids, and exfoliating acids for 48 hours before treatment.
• Arrive with a clean face, free from heavy makeup.
• Inform us of any skin conditions, allergies, medications or recent procedures.
   

Red Light Therapy:

• Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the treatment area.
• Remove makeup or skincare products before your session for maximum light penetration.

Hair Removal (Sugaring or Waxing):

• Avoid heat, sweating, and friction for 24 hours after service — no gym, saunas, or hot tubs.
• Begin gentle exfoliation 48 hours post-treatment and continue 2–3 times per week.
• Apply a soothing oil or moisturizing product  (like our recommended Radiance Oil) daily to hydrate skin and prevent ingrown hairs.
   

Facials & Dermaplaning:

• Avoid makeup for 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe and recover.
• Use a gentle cleanser and SPF daily to protect your fresh skin.
• Skip harsh scrubs or exfoliants for 5–7 days post-treatment.
   

Chemical Peels:

• Expect dryer skin or light peeling/flaking — avoid picking at your skin.
• Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer (available to purchase at your appointment) and wear SPF daily.
• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 1–2 weeks after treatment.
   

Red Light Therapy:

• No downtime — resume normal activities immediately.
• For best results, follow your customized treatment plan.

Will it hurt?
Hair removal can cause temporary discomfort, but our advanced techniques and pre/post-care methods minimize irritation. 

Is there anything I should avoid before my appointment?
Yes — avoid alcohol, caffeine, and heavy workouts right before your service. These can make skin more sensitive.

Can I get a treatment while pregnant?
Most services, including Brazilian Waxing and Sugaring, are pregnancy-safe. Always check with your doctor first. We’ll adjust techniques to ensure your comfort during pregnancy.
